The fair was once again a big success for us and our suppliers; and we couldn’t be happier about all the compliments we received about our products, decorations and entertainment! The Tropical Temptations Scala Fair certainly managed to seduce its audience with the hottest deals and sizzling offers. The Cash & Carry was once again one of the most popular features of the fair; with visitors queuing up early in the morning to secure themselves the best possible deals. Besides amazing offers and prize-competitions during the Scala Fair, visitors were also treated to special treats such as an exotic smoothie bar serving refreshing drinks. Customers and suppliers sipped on coconut smoothies and virgin mojitos, while enjoying the buzzing atmosphere. We at Scala Playhouse were very proud of the introduction of our newest line extensions LUZ by TOYJOY and The Rabbits by TOYJOY. Both received a lot of positive feedback from the Scala Fair audience. The exotic theme was beautifully reflected in the showroom decorations. Eropartner Distribution builds new warehouse

Eropartner Distribution announces the completion of their new warehouse. The distributor finished moving everything to its new location and starting middle of September all operations are located there. “The warehouse with a larger floor space, will give us the opportunity to carry a wider assortment of our current brands”, said Head of Purchasing, Elcke Wieffering, “We’ve always had our eyes on a number of products that we wanted to carry but due to the physical limitations of our previous building did not have enough space to store them.” The new warehouse offers Eropartner Distribution to the opportunity to build on the relationships with current manufacturing partners by carrying a wider assortment, and supporting them in any way possible with their sales and marketing efforts. “In the past few years the number of people working at our head office and the warehouse has grown rapidly. We are tremendously happy with our staff and when designing the new building we wanted to make sure to take their needs into account as well”, adds Sjerk Wieffering. “This resulted in a state-of-the-art lunch room and adjacent outdoor terrace. But the eye catcher of the building is undoubtedly the EP Café, for which we have exciting plans”. pjur supports Mauve Flower Foundation in Hungary

pjur group has supported a huge promotion by Mauve Flower Foundation for Cervical Cancer awareness in Hungary. In every year they take part in a big sport festival with around 10 000 people to make them aware of their work. At this event, Mauve Flower handed out pjur med Premium and pjur med Sensitive Samples, Flyer and a small book about cervical cancer to the interested visitors, who had to solve some little task around the topic cancer prevention. „After cervical cancer therapy, during the menopause or if they suffer from vaginism, women really need pjur med lubricants”, says Icó Tóth from Mauve Flower. Up to 700 women visited the booth. “It was a busy day but full of high emotions. We met a lots of affected women and others, who were healthy and all of them were very open and wondering of Mauve Flower and things around us! It was a good day for everyone, and these times we know very much why we do this: Because we want to save women from cervical cancer and make them aware of prevention. We met fantastic mothers, grandmothers, daughters and friends. This event is a great opportunity to get to know all these people. Next year we will definitely participate again”, Icó says. Besides its engagement in different events, pjur med and a retailer in Hungary have arranged that for every pjur med bottle, a donation is given to Mauve Flower Foundation. In order to further utilise his many years of experience within the company, Mr van der Hooft has agreed to the Supervisory Board’s request that he manage Beate Uhse Group’s Wholesale segment in future. Serge van der Hooft has been a member of the Management Board since 2008 and Chairman of the Management Board since 2010. Until a successor is appointed, Cornelius Vlasblom (CFO) will act as the sole director. He has been Chief Financial Officer of Beate Uhse Group since 2013. “It is my aim to continue to manage Beate Uhse AG decisively with dedication and to continue on the restructuring path that we’ve set ourselves. Our medium-term outlook and vision for the company remain unchanged,” Cornelius Vlasblom says. The Supervisory Board will immediately start to search for a suitable successor to Mr van der Hooft.
